Welcome to the Mary Louise Curtis Branch
Our Mary Louise Curtis (MLC) branch is the oldest and largest branch of Settlement Music School. Before the School expanded beyond its Settlement House roots to multiple branches in the ‘40s and ‘50s, MLC was the first and only branch of Settlement Music School. More than 50% of MLC’s current student body is of Asian descent, which is representative of several of the neighboring communities in South Philadelphia.
Each year, MLC hosts 65+ student performances, 150+ meetings and workshops, 120+ community partner events and 15 artist master classes. It is also home to our award-winning Kaleidoscope Preschool Arts Enrichment Program.

Tuesday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
